The week we learned that Alexei Navalny has been in solitary confinement for more than four months, he himself denounced that he was going to be transferred. In the current cell, measuring two by three meters, the detainees are supposed to remain for a maximum of 15 days, but each time that period ends, the Russian opponent is accused of a new violation of prison regulations. Navalny is in solitary confinement 24 hours a day, he is only allowed to have a book and write for half an hour.
In a message from Navalny, posted on Instagram, he says that he was informed of the transfer to a place where conditions are even harsher. The daughter is concerned about her father’s state of health and she assures that the conditions in which she lives are deplorable. In an interview with CNN, Dasha Navalny said that “Vladimir Putin and the federal penal system continue to act without law, they are slowly torturing and killing my father. The last time I was here, we wanted the doctors to come see him because there was a Serious flu problem in prison, instead they deliberately gave it to him by putting a sick person in his cell, then they prescribed antibiotics, which seems to be correct, but the dose was so high that he lost seven kilos (in two weeks) One weight loss like that is very worrying.”
The young woman says that, in reality, her father’s health problems are not being treated. Dasha is worried and for this reason she called on Vladimir Putin: “There is no possibility that the penal colony decided to worsen the conditions in which my father lives without the green light from the government. Despite the concern, Dasha Navalnya says that the family does not give up and continues to have hope. She asks all those who like democracy to do the same by publicizing the case of her father.
In the message posted on Instagram and written by Alexei Navalny, he says that difficult times make a man stronger and that he will continue to fight against the government, which he considers dishonest. The Russian opponent complains, however, about what they are doing to him, saying that even a serial killer serving a life sentence has the right to visits. He does not have.
