A struggle caused by a seat change on a Gol Airlines flight from Salvador to São Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday forced the plane’s crew to evacuate those involved. The confusion started before takeoff and delayed the plane by at least an hour.
The images, which went viral on social media, show a group of screaming women, with aggression and hair pulling.
Flight attendants and other passengers tried to calm the mood and asked those involved to calm down. But in vain.
According to some witnesses, the confusion arose after a woman put her son in a different passenger seat. This incident delayed flight G3 1659 by approximately one hour. The plane was supposed to leave Bahia’s capital at 1:45 pm, but did not take off until around 3:00 pm.
The airline has already regretted the act of violence and stated that the crew team’s actions were taken with safety in mind.
