Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Wednesday that he will meet with “European Union leaders” on Thursday to discuss additional military support he is seeking from his Western allies.
The UK had announced shortly before that it would examine the possibility of delivering aircraft to Kyiv “in the long term”, and Volodymyr Zelensky said he would “discuss these issues” with the EU as well as “long-range missiles,” during a press conference with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at a site in south west England where the British Army is training Ukrainian soldiers.
