A new earthquake of magnitude 5.2 shook Turkey this Saturday, advances the European Seismological Center of the Mediterranean and the United States Geological Survey. The earthquake occurred 54 kilometers northwest of Karamamarasuma, a city in south-southeastern Turkey, and at a depth of 10 kilometers. So far there are no reports of damage.
More than 44,000 people died in Turkey after two powerful aftershocks hit the country and northern Syria on February 6.
