At least 14 people were killed and 63 injured in a traffic accident in Pakistan when a speeding passenger bus skidded and overturned, authorities said Monday.
The accident occurred overnight on Sunday near the city of Kallar Kahar in Punjab province.
Police said they were still investigating the cause of the accident.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in a statement, expressed his deep regret over what happened.
Last month, a passenger bus hit a pillar and fell off a bridge, catching fire and killing 40 people in the Lasbela district.
Traffic accidents in Pakistan usually occur due to violations of traffic rules that result in the death of thousands of people every year.
