Canada will deliver four additional Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine to help fight the Russian invasion, bringing its contribution to eight, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Friday.
During a press conference, Trudeau said: “Canada has stood in solidarity with Ukraine since the conflict began… and it will continue.”
New sanctions were announced against 129 people, in particular ministers and deputies who voted in favor of the Russian invasion, and 63 entities, located mostly in the defense sector.
