The earthquake that hit Pakistan and Afghanistan on Tuesday killed at least 11 people, authorities in both countries said.
The earthquake measured 6.5 on the Richter scale, the United States Institute of Geophysics (USGS) reported.
The earthquake’s epicenter, recorded at 10:17 p.m. (4:47 p.m. in Lisbon), was located 25 miles southeast of Jurm, in northeastern Afghanistan, the USGS said.

More than 100 people have been taken to hospitals in a state of shock in the Swat valley in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.Pakistani emergency service spokesman Bilal Faizi told the AP.
Faizi added that most were later released from the hospital.
So said Faizi and other officials Nine people were killed in several parts of northwestern Pakistan when roofs collapsed.
Dozens of people were injured in the earthquake, which was also felt near the border with Tajikistan. The earthquake triggered landslides in some mountainous areas.
In Afghanistan, Taliban-appointed Health Ministry spokesman Sharafat Zaman Amar said at least two people were killed and about 20 injured.
