The General Directorate of Civil Aviation of France indicated this Friday to the airlines the suppression of 33% of flights starting next Sunday at the Paris-Orly airport and 20% on Monday, due to the strike of air traffic controllers.
The strike was declared in protest of the decree of the law that changes the retirement age from 62 to 64 years.
The flight cancellations, which were described as a “preventive measure”, also provide for the cancellation of 20% of the flights at the Lyon-Saint-Exupéry and Marseille airports on Sunday.
On Monday, the Marseille airport in southern France is expected to cancel 20% of flight connections.
