A man was arrested after opening one of the doors of a Delta Airlines plane and slipping out of one of the emergency exits as the plane was preparing to take off from Los Angeles to Seattle.
According to CNN InternationalCiting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the incident on Delta Flight 1714 occurred on Sunday, around 10:40 a.m. local time (6:40 p.m. local time), when the plane, a Boeing 737, was still arrested in Los Angeles. International Airport preparing for takeoff.
The passenger left the aircraft after activating the emergency exit ramp and was detained first by the Delta team and then by local police.
The remaining passengers were placed on a new plane to continue their journey. The FAA is now investigating the incident.
