Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met on Monday with the head of the UN atomic energy agency, Rafael Mariano Grossi, in Zaporizhia, in southeastern Ukraine, where Europe’s largest nuclear power plant is located.
“Today, in the city of Zaporizhia, I had with [o Presidente] Zelensky a rich exchange [de impressões] on the protection of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant and its personnel,” said the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the social network Twitter.
“I reiterated the IEA’s full support for Ukraine’s nuclear facilities,” he added.
