The death toll has risen to 26 after a series of tornadoes left a trail of destruction in several North American cities, advance the bbc.
Thousands of homes were destroyed and millions of people are without electricity.
According to the Washington Post, there were more than 60 tornadoes. There are records of fatalities in the states of Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, Mississippi, but the most affected is Arkansas, where a state of emergency has been declared.
US President Joe Biden has already promised federal aid to those who have lost virtually everything.
Storms on Friday also caused the roof of a concert hall in Illinois to collapse, causing one death and injuring 28.
