Russian authorities announced the arrest of a woman suspected of being linked to the explosion that killed a well-known Russian military blogger who advocates the invasion of Ukraine yesterday.
“Darya Trepova has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the explosion at the St. Petersburg cafe,” the Russian Investigative Committee announced in a note posted via the Telegram messaging service.
Vladlen Tatarsky, a blogger and military correspondent, was well known in Russia and a strong supporter of the Putin regime. Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, he has always defended the “special military operation” carried out by Russian forces on Ukrainian soil.
Russia accuses the Ukrainian security services and agents linked to Navalny of being behind the death of the Russian military blogger.
“The terrorist attack was planned by the Ukrainian security services with the help of agents working with the so-called Anti-Corruption Foundation,” Russia’s anti-terrorism committee was quoted as saying by AFP.
