The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, has put on sale t-shirts with his face and the message “not guilty” (“innocent”) to raise funds for his electoral campaign for the 2024 presidential elections.
The garment with the image of Trump with the montage imitating a mug shot can be purchased at official campaign website for 36 dollars, plus seven shipping costs (about 38 euros).
Trump pleaded not guilty this Tuesday in court to the 34 charges against him related to irregular payments to the pornographic actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign, so that she would not make public a sexual relationship between them.
The Republican campaign announced that it had raised more than $7 million since the former president was indicted last Friday.
Trump is one of four names who have officially launched their campaign to be the 2024 Republican Party presidential nominee.
The current president of the United States, Democrat Joe Biden, has expressed his intention to run for re-election, but has not formally done so yet.
