The Chinese head of state condemned any “use of biological and chemical weapons, under any circumstances.” For his part, Emmanuel Macron recalled that “nuclear energy must obviously be completely excluded from this conflict.”
“In this regard, all should be reminded of their duties, in particular Russia, which announced the other day that it wanted to deploy these types of weapons in Belarus, which is not in accordance with the commitments made to you, to us and to international law”, he added, in statements to the press, at the end of their meeting.
