It didn’t take long. About ten seconds. On March 28, in La Coruña, in northwestern Spain, a man narrowly escaped the explosion of a clothes dryer in a laundromat.
On the images taken by a surveillance camera of the establishment broadcast by the Spanish newspaper The vanguardwe see the customer leave the premises, laundry bags in hand, just before a massive explosion goes off in the room.
A lighter charger
The front door and window to the laundry room were smashed and the front wall of the store collapsed. According to Spanish media, the explosion was caused by a lighter charger left in a trouser pocket.
No injuries were reported and the videos were turned over to police for review.
