“Two lifeless bodies” were found Monday in the rubble of the explosion-devastated building in Marseille, in the south of France, the fire service announced.
“Given the specific difficulties of the intervention, the extraction [dos corpos do local] It will take time,” the fire service said in a statement.

The collapse of the four-storey building, due to an explosion, occurred at 00:04 on Saturday (23:04 on Friday in Lisbon), on Rua Tivoli, in the center of the city, and in the fall dragged part of the adjacent buildings, injuring five people.
At least nine people were reported missing, 163 people were treated in hospital and 32 buildings were evacuated, French authorities said.
“All the services of the city, supported by the services of the state, are continuing the search,” Marseille mayor Benoît Payan said in a statement.
On Monday, the mayor said “there is still hope” of finding survivors.
In November 2018, eight people died when two derelict buildings collapsed in another part of this city, where 40,000 people live in slums, according to non-governmental organizations.
