A message from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army posted on the Facebook digital platform states that 180,050 Russian soldiers were killed and adds that in the last 24 hours 730 Russian soldiers were killed in Ukraine.

The same text also mentions that 3,646 tanks, 2,770 artillery systems, 208 air defense systems, 307 aircraft, 293 helicopters, 2,334 unmanned aerial devices (drones), 911 cruise missiles, 5,630 vehicles and fuels, and 319 parts designated as ” special team”, unspecified.

The data provided by kyiv on casualties and equipment has not been verified or accounted for by independent sources so far.

Russia, which launched the last invasion of Ukraine in February last year, has not released casualty figures since September 2022, when the Russian defense minister confirmed the deaths of 5,937 Russian servicemen.

The Mediazona news portal puts the number of dead Russian soldiers since the start of the campaign at 19,688, including “1,665 during the last 15 days.”

The Mediazona portal, which in relation to the count of fatalities collaborates with the official British television channel BBC, says that the figures are corroborated through public data, which were not named.
