The Secretary General of the United Nations Organization (UN), António Guterres, “is not surprised” that they “spy” on him and that they “listen” to his private conversations, his spokesman, Stéphane Dujarric, said Thursday.
Guterres’s spokesman reacted in this way to the publication of secret US documents on Ukraine indicating that Washington has been monitoring the UN secretary general.
“The secretary general has been in this position for a long time, he has been in politics and a public figure for a long time, and he is not surprised that some people are spying on him and that his private conversations are being eavesdropped. Dujarric said at his daily news conference in New York.
