The mystery is solved. The flash detected yesterday at the beginning of the night over kyiv was after all a meteorite, the Ukrainian space agency confirmed on Thursday.
The intense light that hung over the Ukrainian capital caused the activation of the anti-aircraft defense systems and, later, the Ukrainian authorities announced that it was the entry of a NASA satellite into the atmosphere.
However, the US space agency, quoted by AFP, denied that any satellite had entered Ukrainian airspace.
Now, the Ukrainian space agency confirms that the flash, broadcast on video through social networks, was just a meteorite.
