Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Russia tonight that every missile attack, such as the one that killed a 14-year-old boy and two youths in the latest wave of bombings, will have a response from Ukraine.
In his usual evening speech, Volodymyr Zelensky said that in the village of Lyzunivka, in the Chernihiv region, a bomb destroyed “another Ukrainian school” and killed a 14-year-old boy who was near the building.
In Pavloharad, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian missiles killed “two people, young people,” he said.
“My condolences to the families! Forty more people – women, children and men – received medical attention after injuries and traumas,” he said in his speech.
According to Volodymyr Zelensky, for every such attack, the Russian invaders will receive a Ukrainian response.
The parties’ preparations for the impending counter-offensive come amid fresh Russian missile strikes, one of which injured dozens in the Dnipropetrovsk region early Monday morning, causing significant damage to infrastructure.
This is the second wave of Russian shelling in three days, this time also hitting Kherson in southern Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that between midnight and 7 am on Monday they managed to shoot down 15 Russian missiles.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attack was aimed at military targets and its targets were hit.
The Russian military department claimed that the attack damaged the capacity of Ukrainian military industry companies engaged in the production of weapons, military equipment and ammunition.
