Beijing sends a special representative to Kiev and Moscow

The People’s Republic of China announced today that a special representative was sent to Ukraine, Russia and other European countries on Monday to analyze the “political rules” governing the war in Ukraine.

“From May 15 (Monday), Ambassador Li Hui, China’s Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs, will travel to Ukraine, Poland, France, Germany and Russia to meet with all sides on ‘policies’ for the Ukrainian crisis,” said Wang Wenbin, spokesman. for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, told a press conference in Beijing.

Beijing this year presented a first diplomatic initiative on the war in Ukraine, but a large number of Western countries believed that the People’s Republic of China had no final solution and that the proposal lacked definition.
