Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will become a father again, his wife Carrie announced on Friday. It will be the third child of the couple and probably the eighth of the former ruler.
“The new member of the team will arrive in a few weeks,” writes Carrie Johnson on her Instagram account, alongside a photo in which she appears holding hands with her two children, Wilfred and Romy.
“Wilf is really excited to be a big brother again and has been talking about it non-stop. Don’t think Romy has any idea of what’s to come. She soon will,” added Carrie, a former publicist for Wilf. Conservative Party.

Wilfred was born in April 2020, shortly after Boris Johnson was admitted to intensive care due to a covid-19 infection. Romy was born in December 2021, also during Johnson’s term as Prime Minister of Great Britain.
Boris Johnson was finally removed the following summer, after being involved in a series of scandals, including partying on Downing Street at a time when lockdown was in effect due to the pandemic.
The 58-year-old former ruler is living his third marriage. Four children were born of his second marriage to lawyer Marina Wheeler. Johnson also has a daughter, the result of an extramarital affair.
In September 2021, before Romy was born and after speculating for years about how many children he would have, Boris Johnson told NBC that he had six.
