A fire this morning at a hospital on the outskirts of Vienna, Austria, caused at least three deaths. The fire started around midnight local time in Modling, on the outskirts of the Austrian capital. The authorities still do not know the origin of this fire.
Almost 200 firefighters and members of the Red Cross participated in the fight against the flames, which were brought under control after two hours.
The patients were transferred to other hospital units and an investigation was opened to determine the causes of the fire.
