At least 28 people have been killed and 300 injured after a train accident in Odisha, eastern India.
According to the AFP news agency, several carriages of a passenger train derailed in Balasore, some 200 kilometers from the capital of the Indian state of Bhubaneswar. The derailment occurred after a collision with a freight train.
Many of the passengers are believed to have been trapped in the carriages.
