in spite of the President Putin warned that he is not lyingwhen he says that he will use “all means” to protect Russia, the hypothesis that the conflict with Ukraine ends in a nuclear attack only convinces 7% of the respondents in the Aximage poll for TSF-JN-DN.
Asked about the evolution of the conflict and about the possibility of Moscow using nuclear weapons, 45% of those surveyed predict that the war will last longer. 21% anticipate an escalation between Russia and NATO, 9% express confidence in an agreement that will end the war soon and 6% believe that the transfer of Ukrainian territory to Russia could end the conflict.

And if, on the ground, Ukraine seems to be recovering and even Russia has made progress with the partial mobilization of reservists, almost half of those surveyed (49%) consider a Ukrainian victory possible. 30% do not know and 21% do not believe in Zelensky’s victory scenario.
After seven months of war, respondents’ support for sending NATO weapons to Ukraine remains strong: 67% agree, and of these 38% even show “full” support. 15% are against military aid to Ukraine, while 13% “neither agree nor disagree” and 5% say they have no opinion.
