Australian police announced Monday that a bus accident had left at least 10 people dead and 11 injured in the Hunter wine region north of Sydney.
Police said in a statement that the bus driver, a 58-year-old man, had been taken to hospital under police escort for tests and tests.

“The first elements of the investigation show that ten people died. Eleven were transferred to a hospital by road and helicopter, and 18 passengers were unharmed”, indicates the police press release, which specifies that this assessment is not only temporary.
