Three dead, 13 wounded in Russian attack on Odessa

Three people were killed and 13 wounded on Wednesday in a missile attack by Russian forces on the port of Odessa in southern Ukraine, a military official announced.

The three dead were employees of a commercial warehouse hit by a Russian Kalibr cruise missile, a spokesman for the Odessa military administration said on the Telegram messaging platform.

Seven other employees were injured and “there could be people under the rubble,” it added.

Four missiles were launched from a ship in the Black Sea, it added. In addition to the warehouse workers, six people were injured in other parts of Odessa, where a business center, an educational establishment, a residential complex, restaurants and shops were damaged.

According to the military administration, Ukrainian air defense shot down two of the missiles.
