Fuel prices moved unevenly last week. On the one hand, the drop in diesel continues: after losing 2.8 cents the previous week, the average price of the most consumed fuel in France fell by 0.8 cents to stand on average at 1.8542 euros per liter, according to the latest Communiqué weekly of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
On the contrary, gasoline rose 1.4 cents, reaching an average of 1.8391 euros per liter.
New rise in oil
We will see if this movement continues in the coming weeks, while diesel has once again been more expensive than gasoline since the end of September, as we can see in the historical curve that appears below.
The price of oil fell last week: a barrel of North Sea Brent fell by $1.6 to $88.8. However, the situation is not expected to last long as oil prices are set to rise on Monday after Saudi Arabia and Russia confirmed production cuts.
