ZFE: Crit’Air 3 vehicles will still be able to circulate in Marseille, Strasbourg and Rouen after 2025

After a meeting held this Tuesday at the Ministry of Ecology, the ZFE system is once again more flexible. The State authorizes Marseille, Strasbourg and Rouen to allow the circulation of Crit’Air 3 vehicles.

The metropolises of Marseille, Strasbourg and Rouen, where air quality has improved, may choose to allow Crit’Air 3 vehicles to circulate in their EPZs beyond January 1, 2025, the Transition Ministry announced this Tuesday, March 19. Ecological.

These three metropolises were going to continue with the establishment of their Low Emission Zones (ZFE) prohibiting the circulation of diesel cars over 14 years old and gasoline cars over 19 years old, but in 2023 they fell below the regulatory quality thresholds from air.
