A bonus of 8,000 euros “for everyone” at Fiat
Fiat, for example, offers until December 31 a discount of 8,000 euros on its Fiat 500e. A bonus “for everyone”, writes the Italian brand on its website because, in fact, it compensates for the various state aid, which depends on the buyer’s income, to achieve this discount amount without distinction.
The discount thus reaches 6,000 euros for someone who can only claim the 2,000 euro bonus. And it will be 5,000 euros for people who can qualify for the bonus of 3,000 euros (reference tax income per share between 16,300 euros and 26,200 euros) and 4,000 euros for those who can benefit from the bonus of 4,000 euros (reference tax income per unit) . participation less than or equal to 16,300 euros).
The same operation is carried out on the Fiat 600e. For both models, only vehicles available in stock can benefit from this offer.
As a guide, this Thursday, December 12, the new Fiat 500e sedan had a price from 30,400 euros and the Fiat 600e from 35,900 euros. Therefore, the reduction of 8,000 euros can allow you to obtain up to 26% reduction.
The Volkswagen ID range on sale
Until December 31, Volkswagen is also offering significant discounts on its 100% electric ID range. In fact, the German brand adds a “VW Eco bonus” to compensate for the drop in the ecological bonus.
Result: your ID.3 is thus offered from 27,990 euros, thanks to the 3,000 euros of the ecological bonus (for people entitled to this amount) and this bonus of 4,000 euros, a 25% reduction compared to the list price. 34,990 euros. .
On the ID.4, its family SUV, this end-of-year promotion allows it to lower its prices to the level of a direct competitor, the Renault Scénic, as L’Argus points out, from 36,000 euros for these two models. .
Finally, this promotion allows Volkswagen to benefit from the ecological bonus on certain models that exceed the limit of 47,000 euros. This is the case of the ID.5, with a discount of 5,500 euros, which places it below that maximum price to receive public subsidy and, therefore, part of 42,950 euros. In the ID.7, the premium VW Eco even reaches 11,300 euros.
MG, BYD, Leapmotor… the revenge of those excluded from the bonus
Chinese brands, deprived of the ecological bonus since the beginning of 2024, also take advantage of this period to find interesting offers.
At MG, the MG4 in Standard finish has a price starting at 21,990 euros, a discount of more than double the plus, underlines the brand belonging to the SAIC group. The MG ZS EV in Comfort finish with the 51 kWh battery has a price from 23,990 euros.
“These exceptional offers are valid from today until December 27, 2024 for in-stock vehicles registered before this date,” says MG in a press release.
On the BYD side, there are also significant discounts, up to 8,000 euros on the Atto 3 compact SUV, or a 21% discount and 7,000 euros less on the Dolphin, reports an article by Caradisiac.
Leapmotor still believes in bonuses
At Leapmotor, a Chinese brand associated with Stellantis, the small T03 still hopes to benefit from the ecological bonus with a file that Ademe is currently studying. This state agency establishes the “environmental score” that determines whether or not a vehicle can receive the main purchase aid in France. The vehicle is assembled in Europe, in Tychy, Poland, but from kits produced in China.
The latest rumors suggested that the electric city car could benefit from the bonus, but the State would tighten the access conditions, excluding vehicles simply assembled and not produced in Europe.
In this context, Leapmotor offers its T03 starting at 14,900 euros, the amount it was targeting with the potential to qualify for the 2024 bonus stopped at the beginning of December, which would have allowed it to withdraw at least 4,000 euros at its nominal price.
The wording of the current offer suggests that it will be partly the State and if not entirely the manufacturer who will cover this discount:
“Leapmotor supports individual customers with 4,000 euros of guaranteed assistance in T03 until 12/31, possible ecological bonus included,” we can read on the Leapmotor website.
The offer conditions at the bottom of the page clearly specify that this eligibility remains “under investigation”, but that Leapmotor “will, if applicable, grant the customer a discount of an amount that will allow him to benefit from the full equivalent of a 4,000 eco-bonus.” euros.
