Defective airbags: How to know if your car is affected by a reminder?

Citroën extends his campaign to “stop” in France. How to know if your C3 or DS3 is affected by this reminder? What about other manufacturers?

Citroën hardens its retirement on C3 and DS3 in the northern half of France. The manufacturer announced Monday that 239,600 C3 and DS3 should no longer be used before they have been repaired.

Thirty brands affected by reminders for defective air bags

The site of this ministry lists the reminders of all manufacturers for these defective air bags signed by the Japanese subcontractor Takata.

Mercedes, Opel, Toyota or Ferrari and Tesla … Thirty reminders of different brands are identified, for vehicles made between 1998 and 2019, with the links to discover the methods of each campaign.

Finally, according to our autoplus colleagues, since last weekend, technical control centers must notify motorists that their vehicle that has come to approve their control is concerned about a reminder about these Takata air bags.
