When you buy an electric bicycle, you quickly discover that most manufacturers use the owner’s loading systems. A harmful point to guarantee a long enough useful life for its two -wheeled vehicles, but that could well change with the broad initiative.
One of the first new companies that was launched to the urban electric bicycle has just announced the Nova and Nova Pro. These have the peculiarity of being able to recharge thanks to a simple USB-C port, integrated into the frame.
100% in three hours
Planned only in Europe, these models respond to a simplification from Europe, imposing USB-C in most small electronic devices, such as smartphones. But the law, which entered into force at the end of 2024, does not concern bicycles.
This does not prevent a lot from starting. The 336WH battery has a USB-C 3.1 port (up to 140 w) that allows it to move from 0% to 100% of autonomy in three hours. He is not so bad considering that sometimes he takes more than three hours for bicycles with a port of the owner.
For the rest, the technical sheet is quite classic. The Nova model sells 2,990 euros, the Nova Pro is 3,770 euros. There are three sizes and both offer a nine -speed change. Advance orders begin today on their website or workshops of “ample friendly”.
