New car registrations rise again in February

According to the latest data published by the Automotive Platform this morning, new passenger car registrations increased by 9.41%. However, volumes are still far from pre-crisis levels.

The French market confirms its return to positive momentum. According to figures published this Wednesday by the Automotive Industry Platform (PFA), new passenger car registrations increased by 9.41% -compared to February 2022-, with 126,237 new cars put into circulation.

Taking public services into account, the increase remains at 6.04% with 152,535 light vehicles put into circulation. Despite volumes still lower than before the pandemic, the auto market posted its seventh consecutive month of growth in February.
