Against the Smic for life, a representative of the Renaissance wants to condition aid to companies on salary increases

Parliamentarian Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet, founder together with the Head of State of the “En Marche” movement, presents her proposals to encourage companies to improve the purchasing power of low-paid employees.

To fight against the perverse effects of low salaries, the Renaissance deputy Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet proposed on Tuesday to open the debate on the conditioning of aid to companies based on their “good social and salary practices”.

Author of a column in The worldThe deputy for Paris welcomed Emmanuel Macron’s “proposal” for “a social convention on low wages.” According to his entourage, the Head of State validated the idea of ​​a conference “on careers and branches below the minimum wage” during a meeting with party leaders on August 30.

The elected representative of Paris, who was one of the founders of the macronista movement “En Marche” in 2016, asks in particular “to put on the table the issue of the conditionality of aid to companies so that it is more a function of quality of good social and wage practices”.

Reductions in employee contributions

It also calls for “examining the impact of a reduction in employee contributions for low wages, and no longer just exemptions from employer contributions.”

The deputy also wants to “make supplementary pensions mandatory (…) for everyone and not just for managers.”

Finally, he calls for the creation of a multi-party group in the Assembly on work, following the model of the group on medical deserts launched during the last session by the socialist Guillaume Garot.
