A health center with many capabilities
Since its creation, the laboratory has brought together several laboratory medicine institutes, offering more efficient health centers, both for patients and health professionals.
With more than 200 employees spread across seven locations in the canton of Neuchâtel, Admed today covers numerous disciplines in the field of medical analysis, such as clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology and even transfusion medicine. The foundation also carries out various medical pathology diagnoses every year on patients in hospitals, but also in health institutions.
The creation of a new multidisciplinary health center
Faced with the numerous challenges in the field of health, including the general aging of the population, the Admed laboratory is currently working on new projects aimed at developing concrete solutions to face future challenges.
By 2026, the regional laboratory aims to create a completely new health center that brings together all laboratory medicine with common technical platforms. This place will house several medical specialties of excellence, thus facilitating exchanges between different medical professions.
