Fuel: Returning to normal will take more than a week, says service station union

Francis Pousse, national president of the “Fuel and new energy distributors” branch, doubts that next week there will be a return to normality as Emmanuel Macron has announced.

Will it be possible to return to normality at gas stations next week, as Emmanuel Macron said this Wednesday night on France 2? For Francis Pousse, it will be more difficult than that.

On BFMTV, the national president of the Mobilians union (which represents around half of French service stations), is more skeptical. If he believes the situation can be “resolved”, he doubts it will be “normal” again in a few days. “It will take a little more time,” he said.

But according to Francis Pousse, “we cannot supply the 200 tanks in France with this fuel so quickly. Then we will have to supply each service station, there are 11,000, I remind you.”
