Ricola settles in the heart of Paris. This Wednesday, November 16, the Swiss patisserie will open its first store in France in the Marais district (4th arrondissement).
If the usual pastry products will be available in store, Ricola will also offer a “new range of unique and exclusive products and services”. Like the Böxli, “a personalized box made up of 4 boxes of candies”. A bulk sale will also be set up at the store where three collectible metal boxes will also be sold, including one bearing the image of Paris.
T-shirts, reusable water bottles…
Beyond the sweets, Ricola will exclusively sell €39 T-shirts made by La French Pique, a Marseille-based company specializing in the manufacture of hand-embroidered clothing from recycled products, at its Parisian boutique. Reusable water bottles made by the Swiss company Sigg from 100% recycled aluminum will also be available on the shelves at a price of 34 euros.
Finally, Ricola will regularly organize in-store workshops to “get to know Swiss plants”. Other workshops will allow you to participate in the artisan production of Ricola sweets or even design your herbarium “from emblematic plants of the recipe”.
In France, Ricola has achieved a turnover of 95 million euros since the beginning of the year (all formats and all channels). Ricola is the leader in France in the small pastry sector with a 37.6% market share in value (+1 point compared to last year).
