The delays in the payment of daily health insurance assignments in Loire-Atlantique and Vendée, linked to the new software, will be absorbed “in the coming weeks,” said Minister of Health Yannick Neuder on Wednesday.
The reinforcements of 35 televisions and 30 soon mobilized 55 experts so that “in a few weeks, the entire delay that was not acceptable was put on the table and settled,” said Yannick Neuder in the National Assembly, during the questions to the Government.
Health Insurance has been testing for several months in Loire-Atlantique for several months its new Autpège software to process daily assignments (paid by health insurance in case of illness license).
Still 15% of applications for suffering
But its implementation has generated numerous dysfunctions, and thousands of social insured have been deprived of compensation for more or less a long time.
According to Yannick Neuder, after several months of effort, 85% of the daily compensation files in Loire-Atlantique and are now settled “automatically” and “within 6 days.”
“In fact, there are still difficulty levels”, especially for occupational accidents and diseases “that still require manual treatment, and that correspond to 15% of the” daily assignments, Yannick Neuder explained.
Given the difficulties found, health insurance decided to postpone the national deployment of Arpège to 2026, which was scheduled in 2025, said Deputy Henriet.
