The Parliament approved on Wednesday the appointment of Bernard Fontana to the Chief of EDF, the two cameras announced this Wednesday, opening the way to assume the position of the current general director of Framatome, designated by Elysée to succeed Luc Remont.
The Senate Economic Affairs Commissions and the National Assembly have given green light to this appointment, with a cumulative total of 55 votes and 40 votes against. Bernard Fontana had been audited successively by these two commissions in the morning.
