The forty minutes video was published on Sunday by Zvezda, a television channel belonging to the Russian Defense Ministry. It shows workers with blurred or hidden faces behind surgical masks, assembling triangular drones. Rare images, with devices used daily to attack Ukraine.
These drones, called “Gueran-2”, are the Russian version of the Shahed-136 Iranian, which Tehran provided in Moscow to lead his offensive.
The factory is installed in the city of Ielabouga in Tatarstán, the central region of Russia, in what was initially planned as a special economic zone created to stimulate scientific and commercial activities in the region.
Cadence multiplied by nine
Timour Chaguivaleevev ensures that it produces nine times more drones than initially planned to support the recent intensification of drone attacks against Ukraine.
In the factory, the portraits of the Soviet dictator Joseph Staline, the nuclear physicist Igor Kourtchatov and the father of the Soviet space program, Sergei Korolev, visitors and cough employees, accompanied by this message: “Kourtchatov, Korolev and Staline live in their DNA!”
Although it is more than a thousand kilometers from the border with Ukraine, this production center is a goal for long -range Ukrainian attacks, which regularly reach industrial and military infrastructure located in depth in the Russian territory.
