The Ingka Group, a Holding company, which brings together most Ikea stores worldwide, announced a new boss, the Spanish Juvencio Maeztu, who will assume the position on November 5 as the first managing director not biased to occupy this position.
Currently, deputy manager of the group will happen to Jesper Brodin, who left his duties as DG after eight years of service and 30 years in the company, the group said in a statement.
In Ikea for 25 years
Juvencio Maeztu has been working for Ikea for 25 years and has held different positions. He began in the early 2000s as director of the store in Spain, according to the statement.
He graduated from a license in economics obtained at the University of Cádiz in 1991.
