A collision between two aircraft “just” on Sunday night at the Nice Airport (Alpes-Maritime) was avoided, AFP learned from the Office of Research and Analysis for the Security of Civil Aviation (BEA).
On Sunday, shortly after 11:30 PM, a plane from the company Nouvelle Air landed at Niza airport when it approached an Easyjet plane that was already on this track, reported that the Office of Research and Analysis of Civil Aviation (BEA), confirming the information of Var Morning.
The plane in the landing phase then delivered the gases to stop the maneuver.
The Bea believes that it is a “serious incident” because the plane was not going to land on the right path.
These two planes are Airbus A320.
Two Bea researchers are already on the scene and two others will arrive tonight, said Bea, who requested on Sunday night the mobilization of airplanes to recover the black boxes to exploit them.
Researchers will also be responsible for collecting testimonies of crews and air traffic control to determine the circumstances of the incident.
