A “serious act”
“It emerges from the first elements of the procedure that the machinist had taken his rest leaving the keys in the contact,” added the Prosecutor’s Office.
However, the statements contradictions with Ahmed Berrahal, chosen for the health commission, safety and working conditions (CSSCT) of the Ratp, which tells BFMTV that a bus begins with a button, not a key.
“You enter a bus, break down the door (…), there is only one button to press and the bus begins,” he insists. “There is no need to leave Saint-Cyr to discover how to start a bus.”
Undouncing after the Montparnasse incident, Ahmed Berrahal denounces a “very given act” and asks the city of Paris the implementation of new safety systems on the accessibility of Ratp vehicles.
“We are asking that user safety is that we place an anti-Starter with a service card so that we have to fool with its card” to start a bus, alert the CSSCT representative.
