Britain’s rail union RMT threatened on Monday to file a strike notice for the period December 24-27.
This notice follows the postponement of wage negotiations between the employees’ union, on the one hand, and the operators and manager of the railway network, on the other.
In France too
RMT said on Sunday that it had rejected a 4% pay increase offer for 2022 and 2023 and recommended that its members reject it.
Remember that in France too, the SNCF unions have filed several strike notices for Christmas and New Year weekends, when crucial wage negotiations are about to begin.
