E.Leclerc withdraws from the market Morbier that may be contaminated with listeria

A batch of Morbier AOP sold by E.Leclerc is subject to a recall due to the possible presence of listeria bacteria.

A batch of Morbier AOP of the brand “Nos region ont du talent” sold by E.Leclerc is the subject of a recall procedure due to the detection of the presence of the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes after a microbiological control, alert the site drink reminder.

These are 250-gram slices of raw Morbier AOP cow’s milk cheese, for refrigerated storage, which are sold in a transparent plastic tray. This is lot n°006, whose barcode is 3564709172415 and the expiration date is set for March 18, 2023. Please note: only products with the additional code 03 after the barcode are affected by the reminder procedure.

This product was marketed between January 10, 2023 and January 24, 2023 in the E.Leclerc self-service department throughout France.

Consumers who own this product are urged not to consume it and return it to the point of sale for a refund.

People who have consumed this product and who “present fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor notifying them of this consumption”, we reported in Rappel Conso, adding that “severe forms with neurological complications and sometimes maternal or fetal harm may also occur in pregnant women.”
