The European Union reached an agreement on Friday on a maximum price for Russian oil products, the Swedish EU presidency announced in a tweet.
“EU ambassadors today approved the price cap for Russian petroleum products ahead of final adoption by the European Council,” Swedish officials tweeted on behalf of their country, which holds the EU’s rotating presidency. It is an “important agreement that is part of the ongoing response by the European Union and its partners to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.”
