Just over one in six agents (15.9%) was unemployed this Thursday in the state civil service for the ninth day of mobilization against the pension reform, according to the Ministry of Public Function.
This participation among the 2.5 million state public servants is much higher than the previous weekday mobilization day, on March 15, when it had fallen to 3.1%.
11.2% of strikers in the public hospital service
The mobilization was also greater this Thursday in the other two large branches of the public service, territorial and hospital.
In the territorial civil service (almost two million agents), the rate of strikers reached 8.6%, compared to 3.05% on March 15, while the mobilization reached 11.2% in the hospital civil service (1.2 million agents), compared to the previous 7%.
