What services does Intelcia IT Solutions offer to its clients?
We are an outsourcer: we offer our clients, generally directors of information systems, offers and services to outsource part or all of their IT production, ranging from application development to infrastructure management (cloud, data centers or networks ). Our clients trust us with these services so that they can manage their IT strategy with complete peace of mind.
How does the lack of resources push companies to outsource?
To be relevant as a subcontractor and provide added value to clients, you must be able to attract talent, develop expertise and know how to retain it. Clients come to us because our core business is finding the best developers and engineers in the fields of networking, cybersecurity, or applications. We have this ability to offer talent in many countries (in France, North Africa and West Africa) and, above all, to retain them through attractive career paths.
Why is engineering training an important topic?
The academic training offered by our countries of presence is a good base for our engineers, but it is not enough. The engineer must choose a technological path when entering the world of work. With us, employees can start with an end-of-studies internship where we’ll provide initial technical training, and then be recruited as a Tier 1 Engineer in a field of their specialty. They will improve their skills, become certified and progress to level 2, then 3. Our organization allows us to constantly ensure the availability of resources for our clients.
In addition, we are committed to funding our talent with a certification related to their area of expertise each year. We also invest a lot in corporate life.
How has the pandemic impacted your development?
We launched Intelcia IT Solutions at the end of 2019, following our group’s acquisition of two ESNs. We had apprehensions when Covid arrived, but in the end teleworking helped us. Some clients who were afraid of working with employees in outsourced centers got used to doing it during this period. Today, a development team works perfectly remotely, with the necessary tools (visual management, rituals, etc.).
Telecommuting has also increased cybersecurity needs. If employees connect from home or a cafe, with an unprotected PC, to corporate applications, they can pose a significant risk. More and more companies are turning to remote access security solutions. We recently launched a dedicated cybersecurity business unit specializing in remote access security technologies (EDR-MDR).
What are your development goals?
When we started, we were 120 in 1 country, currently we are 400 employees in 5 countries. Our next step is to reach 1,000 employees by 2025 and strengthen our position as a global player in outsourcing. We will also continue our development in the American continent.
