Be careful if you recently bought a box of pasta from the Lustucru brand. The official Rappel Conso website recommends not consuming and/or destroying “Serpentini Carbonara” which is sold in 360 gram cans throughout France. In question, a suspicion of the presence of Listeria which can therefore lead to listeriosis, an infectious disease.
The product in question has been sold since June 8 for a July 4 expiration date. It bears the lot number C1560/hh:mm/C14.
It is marketed throughout France through the Casino, Système U, Auchan, E. Leclerc, Groupement Les Mousquetaires, Intermarché, Netto, Cora and Match stores.
Serious illness
Reminder Conso highlights that “people who have consumed the products and who have fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor, notifying them of this consumption. Severe forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women can sometimes also occur.”
“Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and whose incubation period can be up to eight weeks,” he recalls.
