You never want to put your cart in front of the horse at the cinema. Even projects that look like certifiable slam dunks find a way to hit roadblocks, preventing fans from forming the team or crossover they were dreaming of. Many factors can creep in and disrupt the creative process, from planning and contracting to something like cinemas that have to temporarily close while the world takes care of things. However, a Hollywood powerhouse like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson seems to understand how to get things done, and now that he plays the antihero DC black adam in a blockbuster, we had to ask ourselves if a crossover movie with Superman it was in the cards. And his response will make the fans very excited.

So hearing The Rock say “Absolutely” when asked if this is happening is incredibly uplifting.
Of course also WB and DC tried to do a Justice League movie , and he misbehaved in this task. So there’s no guarantee that a Superman / Black Adam crossover will work. But we really want to see them try, so this movie can make the list upcoming DC movies What are we waiting for.
